AVR 20 : Alarm Flasher and Sounder

This sounder/flashers operates at 24VDC. The sounder can be permanently disabled so that unit acts as a flasher only. These units are designed for internal use. These are available in Red or Amber.

IS-A105N : Intrinsically Safe Alarm Sounder

The IS-A105N is a high output, 105dB alarm sounder. Approvals include ATEX, IECEx and GOST-R for Zone 0 applications and FM approval for Class I Division 1 and Class I Zone 0 applications.

The IS-A105N is suitable for all intrinsically safe signalling applications including fire, security and process control.

IS-L101L : Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon

The IS-L101L unit is an intrinsically safe field mounting beacon which provides a bright
flashing warning signal.


The unit can be used independently or combined with an IS-A105N 49 alarm sounder. Combination
units can utilise a common zener barrier or galvanic isolator and may be coupled together or
mounted seperately. With the IS-A105N the alarm accept function can be utilised. By closing a pair of
external contacts (i.e push switch) the operator may silence the alarm for set periods between 5
seconds and 2 hours. If after the preset time the alarm condition still exists the sounder will activate
again.

GDA 2300 : MODBUS Gas Detection Sensor

The GDA 2300 series board is a slave MODBUS interface board that can read from a 2500 series sensor head and/or a 4-20 mA sensor input. The slave device can communicate MODBUS RTU with a baud rate of 9600 or 19200 bps and can have up to 32 devices on a single MODBUS line. The device support the functions ‘Read Holding Register’ (0x03) to read the concentration of the sensors and ‘Write Single Register’ (0x06) to control the 2 output relays from the MODBUS Master. The calibration of the device is easily done with span and zero push buttons that are mounted on the board.

GDA 2528 : Oxygen Gas Sensor (0-25% vol, 4-20 mA o/p)

The 2528 Oxygen gas sensor is a 2 wire 4-20 mA Loop Powered device with a range of 0-25% vol Oxygen. It has an electrochemical gas sensing unit which is temperature compensated. The gas sensor element is on a pluggable lead allow ease of replacement. The oxygen gas sensor electronics are housed in a robust ABS sun tolerant plastic enclosure rated IP65; the sensor head and its electronics are housed in a metal enclosure giving it excellent RFI and EMC compatibility. The sensor head is fitted with a splash proof cover giving an IP62 rating.

GDA 2529 : Hydrogen Sulphide Gas Sensor (0-100 ppm, 4-20 mA o/p)

The GDA 2529 Hydrogen Sulphide gas sensor is a 2 wire 4-20 mA loop Powered device. It has an electrochemical sensing unit which is temperature compensated. The sensor element is on a pluggable lead allow ease of replacement. The hydrogen sulphide gas sensor electronics are housed in a robust ABS sun tolerant plastic enclosure rated IP65; the sensor head and its electronics are housed in a metal enclosure giving it excellent RFI and EMC compatibility. The sensor head is fitted with a splash proof cover giving an IP62 rating.

GDA 2560 : Flammable Gas Sensor (0-100% LEL, 4-20 mA o/p)

The GDA 2560 Flammable gas sensor [Hydrogen, Methane, Butane, Propane, Acetylene, and Ammonia] is a 3 wire (24 VDC) 4-20 mA device. This gas sensor is designed to be used areas classed as NON hazardous. It has an electron resistive catalytic sensing element which is temperature controlled. The sensor element is on a pluggable lead allow ease of replacement. The flammable gas sensor's electronics are housed in a robust ABS sun tolerant plastic enclosure rated IP65; the sensor head and its electronics are housed in a metal enclosure giving it excellent RFI and EMC compatibility. The sensor head is fitted with a splash proof cover giving an IP62 rating.

GDA 2628 : Oxygen Gas Sensor (0-25% vol, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V o/p)

The GDA 2628 Oxygen gas sensor is a further enhancement of the GDA 2528 Oxygen gas sensor that allows AC and DC operation as well as providing the option of 4-20 mA, 0-10 V and 0-5 V operation. The additional voltage o/p can be used on BMS systems that use voltage inputs as opposed to current input. It has an electrochemical gas sensing unit which is temperature compensated. The gas sensor element is on a pluggable lead to allow ease of replacement. The oxygen gas sensor electronics are housed in a robust ABS sun tolerant plastic enclosure rated IP65; the sensor head and its electronics are housed in a metal enclosure giving it excellent RFI and EMC compatibility. The sensor head is fitted with a splash proof cover giving an IP62 rating.

GDA 2000Ex : Explosion Proof (IEC Ex) Flammable Gas Detector

The GDA 2000Ex is certified for use in Zone 1 Hazardous areas within Australia. The sensor is certified IEC Ex. It operates from 24 VDC and gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range 0-100% LEL of the gas to which it is calibrated. Typical gases are Methane, Propane and Hydrogen. The unit can be programmed and calibrated without opening. It is fitted with a sensor splash cover giving a head IP rating of IP66 .

GDA 2000Tx : Explosion Proof (IEC Ex) Toxic and Oxygen Gas Detector

This gas detector/gas sensor is certified for use in Zone 1 Hazardous areas within Australia. The gas detector/gas sensor is certified IEC Ex. It operates from 24 VDC and gives a 4-20 mA o/p over the range of the oxygen or toxic sensor to which it is calibrated. The gas detector/gas sensor can be programmed and calibrated without opening. The display indicates the gas level reading. It is fitted with a sensor splash cover giving a head IP rating of IP66. The sensor does not have to be opened to carry out a calibration as all programming can be carried out via an external magnetic switch. This allows calibration without a hot work permit.

GDA 40126 : Flammable Gas Detection Controller (4-20 mA o/p)

The GDA 40126 units are an integrated, wall mounted single gas detector control unit with a display for Flammable gases such as LNG, LPG, Propane, Hydrogen, Acetylene, Solvents, and other flammable vapours. The unit has 2 user relays which can be programmed to operate at any level within the gas detectors operational range. Additional to this there is an independent fail safe fault relay. There is an additional o/p to drive a 24 VDC sounder /flasher (AVR20Y/R) which can be muted from the front panel. The alarms are indicated on the display and by flashing LEDS. There is also a facility for modbus connection which can be added to the gas GDA 40126.

GDA 4020 : Two Channel Controller

The GDA 4020 control unit has 2 x 4-20 mA i/p with 3 associated programmable relay alarm levels per sensor. There is an independent fault relay. There are 3 x analog o/p’s which can be configured for either channel as 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V. The controller has an isolated RS485 o/p which can be configured to drive modbus or an interface to the M2001 mimic panel. All configurations are carried out via the front panel push buttons. The unit requires 24 VDC.

SMS 320 : Alarm Broadcast SMS Unit

The GDA SMS message is designed to send a SMS text to 3 individual mobile No's to inform of an alarm OR fault condition. The system has its own mains power unit and batteries back up to allow transmission of fault conduction in the case of power outages.
